COMMUNICATED CHANGE
Kraft Foods developed a new employee development model and retained JRS Consulting to introduce the approach to Marketing employees in the U.S. and Canada. JRS Consulting developed a communications program that supported both understanding and behavior change among employees, with a strategy focused on preparing managers to work with their own employees on adopting the approach to career development. JRS created comprehensive materials and a web site for employees, trained managers in communications regarding career development, and designed career assessment tools that employees and managers could use together. Launch events held at all Kraft sites introduced the model and gave employees opportunities to explore the new approach through facilitated break-out sessions.

In a follow-up survey, 100% of managers reported understanding the new model. In addition, Kraft Human Resources reported an immediate increase in managers and employees expressing interest in new career opportunities available through the model.
