Johnson & Johnson's Ortho Dermatological invented Renova, a new prescription drug that reduces wrinkles, with PR agency KemperLesnik on board to handle the introduction. JRS's focus groups revealed that when it comes to wrinkles, women think "beauty" and not "medicine." To convey this idea, KemperLesnik offered dermatologists in Nordstrom’s cosmetic counters and booked dermatologists on the air to link skin care and beauty with Renova. According to KemperLesnik, Renova prescriptions increased dramatically as thousands lined up at Nordstrom's cosmetic counters.
